Responsibilities
The Cassina Area Sales Manager Central Germany, ideally based in North Rhine-Westphalia, is responsible for the development and support of the selective Cassina partner network and reports directly to the Germany & Austria Sales Manager.
He/she will strategically and structurally initiate, develop and optimise the presentation and sales of the current and upcoming Cassina collections within the Cassina partner network. The opening of special areas, brand spaces (shop-in-shop) and monobrand stores as well as the management of promotions and other sales activities are important tasks.
Furthermore, the development and acquisition of projects in cooperation with the local dealer network with a focus on A&D, hospitality and real estate will be a significant part of the role.
The appointed candidate will represent Cassina at trade fairs such as Salone del Mobile, Orgatec, Architect Trips and other local events.
Main Activities
Strategic support and further development of our existing network of selected partners in Central Germany in co-operation with the customer service in Italy;
Define and achieve the annual sales and profitability targets of the business plan for his/her territory;
Ensure excellent product presentation in the partners' showrooms in accordance with the Visual Merchandising Guidelines issued by Cassina;
Introducing new product ranges to existing and new customers;
Training of sales staff on site or in the Headquarter in Meda/Milan Italy;
Promote the brand to A&D, Real Estate & Hospitality Developers and expand this field;
Accompanying our local partners on visits to important architects and interior designers.
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics;
Several years of relevant experience in the international architecture and design industry as well as a pronounced affinity for sophisticated and eclectic design;
Proven Sales history of at least 5-7 years achieving measurable sales goals;
Existing architect and developer network.
Technical and Soft skills
Commercial strength with a clear focus on achieving targets and recognizing business opportunities;
Entrepreneurial thinking, high self-motivation and willingness to travel;
Confident, eloquent demeanour and the ability to argue at decision-maker level;
Excellent communication and sales skills;
High level of responsibility, self-motivation and structure;
Love and passion for exceptional design and highest quality;
Organizational & problem-solving skills;
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel);
German mother tongue, fluent in English, Italian knowledge will be considered a plus.
