Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic China Sales Director to lead the commercial operations and growth strategy of our brand in China. Based locally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, building and nurturing relationships with key partners and clients, and expanding market presence while upholding the company’s heritage of Italian design and craftsmanship.

Main activities
  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the Country in alignment with global business objectives;
  • Manage and expand the China sales network including monobrands, architects, and retail partners;
  • Oversee and elevate the end-to-end retail experience across all stores, ensuring a consistent brand image, premium customer service, and an engaging in-store journey that reflects the values of Italian design and craftsmanship;
  • Identify new market opportunities and oversee business development initiatives to increase brand penetration;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including developers, luxury hotels, architects, and interior designers;
  • Coordinate with marketing, product, and operations teams to tailor offerings to local market trends and customer preferences;
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and consumer behaviors to adapt commercial strategies accordingly;
  • Lead the local sales team;
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for the Country;
  • Act as the brand ambassador in China, promoting the company’s values and identity;
  • Monthly monitoring sell-out performance.

Education & Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field;
  • Minimum 7 years of commercial experience in the luxury furniture or interior design sector;
  • Proven track record in sales leadership, market development, and managing a team;
  • Strong network within the luxury design and architectural community in China.

Technical and Soft Skills
  • Deep understanding of regional market dynamics, consumer behavior, and retail/distribution models;
  • Chinese Mother tongue and fluent in English;
  • Willingness to travel across the Country;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
