The role
The role is responsible for driving planning, coordination, execution and governance of AI related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder needs and organizational change efforts. Partnering closely with business leaders, functional teams and stakeholders, this position accelerates AI adoption in the company and delivers measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive AI Transformation Programs across Haworth Lifestyle and Haworth International: lead enterprise AI transformation initiatives from strategy development through implementation, adoption, and value realization, ensuring alignment with business objectives;
• Drive AI Strategy and Roadmap Development: partner with leaders to define and execute AI strategies, transformation roadmaps, and prioritized initiatives that accelerate business growth, productivity and innovation;
• Propose AI Investments and Resource Allocation: coordinate AI program budgets, vendor relationships and resource deployment to maximize return on investment and ensure sustainable scalability;
• Measure and Communicate Business Impact: define success metrics, track AI program performance, communicate progress, risks and value creation to executive stakeholders;
• Deploy and Maintain AI Governance and Policies: deploy frameworks, policies, risk management practices and ethical AI standards to ensure compliance, security and responsible use of AI technologies;
• Support Cross-Functional Transformation Efforts: collaborate with business, IT, data, HR and all other functional leaders to identify AI opportunities, drive organizational alignment, and remove barriers to adoption;
• Champion AI Adoption and Change Management: foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning by leading change management efforts, building AI capabilities and driving user adoption across the organization;
• Identify and Scale AI Innovation Opportunities: evaluate emerging AI technologies, use cases, and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency;
• Monitor AI Trends and Industry Best Practices: stay informed on advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and digital transformation, translating insights into strategic recommendations and competitive advantage.

Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree with 7 years related work experience or 5 years related experience with Master's
  • Project Management certification or extensive experience required (e.g., PMP, IPMA, or equivalent)
  • Fluency in both Italian and English (spoken and written).

Soft skills
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams with influence;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills;
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and sound decision-making capabilities;
  • Proven expertise in managing financial, material, and human resources to achieve business objectives.
 

Workplace: Milan, London or Lisbon.
Willingness to travel across Asia, Europe and occasionally North America

In accordance with EU regulations on pay transparency and pay equity, we provide below the terms and conditions for employment in Italy:
The position is classified as a managerial role with a gross annual salary ranging from €65,000 to €70,000, in line with the CCNL Legno Arredo Industria collective bargaining agreement. The salary range indicated in this posting represents an average estimate for the position. The final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
