Role Purpose
We are looking for an HR Cost Controller to join our Finance team. The role will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling personnel-related costs, acting as a key link between Finance and HR to ensure cost efficiency, data accuracy, and strategic workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze personnel costs (headcount, salaries, bonuses, benefits, overtime, incentives)
  • Prepare periodic HR cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis versus budget
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes related to workforce costs:
    • defining structure, timeline, deadlines and creating templates.
    • Budget and forecast analysis by brand: collecting input, performing detailed analysis and assessing impacts/scenarios.
  • Work closely with HR to ensure consistency between financial data and HR data
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in HR and Finance reporting systems
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities related to personnel costs

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, or related fields
  • 3–5 years of experience in controlling, cost controlling, or HR controlling
  • Strong knowledge of financial and cost control principles, with focus on personnel costs
  • Advanced Excel skills;
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with HR and Finance stakeholders
  • Good communication skills and ability to translate data into insights
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in multinational or structured organizations
  • Knowledge of labor cost structures and HR metrics (FTE, cost per head, etc.)
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting tools

Work location
Milan. Availability for trips in Italy and possibility to work remotly 1 day per week.
